Belladrum 2026 – Pottery Wheel Taster Sessions

We’re bringing our travelling pottery wheels to Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2026 for relaxed, drop-in pottery taster sessions throughout the festival. Whether you’ve never touched clay before or just fancy a creative breather between bands, this is your chance to have a proper go on a potter’s wheel.

Our sessions are informal, welcoming, and designed for absolute beginners. We’ll guide you through the basics of centring clay and shaping a pot, with plenty of encouragement and zero pressure. Expect laughter, gloriously wonky pots, and the quiet satisfaction of making something real with your hands.

Most pots made during the festival go home with you on the day. You can let them air-dry and decorate them later with acrylic paints or a varnish if you’d like to keep them as a finished keepsake.

Each day of the festival, anyone who leaves us a review will be entered into a daily draw. One lucky winner’s pot will come back to our studio with us, where it will be professionally glazed, kiln-fired, and posted back out once finished.
