Experience pottery in the heart of Oban during the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race!
We'll be outside Oban Distillery on Stafford Street with our professional pottery wheels, inviting visitors of all ages to have a go at throwing a pot. Whether you've always fancied trying it or simply enjoy watching the clay take shape, we'd love to welcome you.
No booking. No pressure. No experience needed.
For just £12, you can sit at a real potter's wheel and discover what it feels like to turn a lump of clay into something with your own hands. It only takes a few minutes, but it's the sort of experience people remember for years. If "have a go on a potter's wheel" has been quietly gathering dust on your bucket list, this is your chance to cross it off.
We'll also have a selection of our handcrafted Scottish ceramics for sale, including our popular whisky drampots, mugs and unique gifts, all made in the Highlands.
