Pottery Taster Session at Portsonachan

Step into the world of clay with Iain and Nicola from Tyndrum Pottery and join us for a hands-on introduction to wheel throwing. In this relaxed 4-hour session at Portsonachan Village Hall, you’ll learn the fundamentals of centring, pulling, and shaping your own pots on the wheel, with plenty of laughs, guidance, and a few glorious failures along the way!

With a small class size, you’ll ideally have a wheel to yourself for around two hours and as much one-to-one guidance as you like.

All materials, tools, and firings are included. Your finished pieces will be glazed with a finish of your choice and fired for you, ready to collect once complete.

Whether you’re a first-timer or just fancy a creative day out in good company, this is the perfect way to slow down, get your hands dirty, and find the quiet rhythm of making.
