About the class
Set within the atmospheric coastal village of Pittenweem, this renowned arts festival transforms intimate spaces into a living gallery, where creativity unfolds across cottages, studios, and hidden corners of the harbour.
For the first time, Tyndrum Pottery joins this celebrated gathering of artists, presenting a curated collection of work that reflects the landscape, materials, and processes at the heart of our practice. Each piece carries the quiet influence of the Highlands, shaped by hand and fire, and offered here as part of the wider artistic dialogue that defines the festival.
Alongside the exhibition, visitors are invited to engage more directly with the making process. A working studio setup, complete with five professional potter’s wheels, will run throughout the day, offering live demonstrations and opportunities to experience the rhythm of clay firsthand.
This balance between finished work and active making reflects the spirit of Pittenweem itself, where art is both observed and lived.
