Further Experimentation, Ideas, and What's The Next Project

This guide started with curiosity, wandered through frustration, and eventually landed somewhere useful. I hope it’s been an interesting read, and maybe even nudged you towards your own experiments.

So, what’s next?

My next ambition is to develop a fully water-based gold lustre, moving away from the organic solvents traditionally used in liquid gold preparations. The hope is to create something healthier and more pleasant to work with in a small pottery studio, without sacrificing that beautiful metallic finish. There are plenty of other obscure corners of pottery chemistry still waiting to be explored, too.
