Pinch Mug – Selkie Drift

This handmade pinch mug is finished in Selkie Drift, shifting between deep brown, sea-green and ocean blue depending on glaze thickness and firing.
The glaze takes its name from the selkies of Scottish folklore, creatures said to slip between seal and human form. Its changeable surface suits the hand-pinched form, while the dimples on either side give the mug a comfortable natural grip. No two are quite alike.
