Rimmed Serving Bowl – Aurora

This handmade rimmed serving bowl is finished in Aurora, a mottled green-blue glaze that breaks into deep earthy brown and black where thin. Subtle texture around the rim catches and interrupts the flowing glaze.
Named for the aurora borealis across northern skies, Aurora is all about movement and changing colour. The firing determines where it pools, breaks and darkens, so every bowl develops its own surface. Suitable for serving or simply left to occupy the middle of a table rather confidently.
