Beneath the Ben, Beyond the Loch
Beneath the Ben, Beyond the Loch is a collection born from the very soul of the Highland landscape, a collaboration with the rugged geology of Argyll & Bute. Each vessel tells a story shaped by the land’s natural duality: the deep hollows carved by ice and time, and the proud peaks that catch the Highland wind.
Some forms rest like lochans, quiet, reflective, and sheltering, while others rise like Bens, bold, proud, and reaching. We draw inspiration from maps, not merely as decoration, but as a cartography of feeling, a way to honour how the land remembers, how we move through it, and how it stirs our emotions.

Within each glaze, if the light is just right, you may catch a glimpse of something rarer still: a whisper of Scottish gold, panned by hand from the wild rivers that surround us. This isn’t added for opulence; it’s embedded in the story, an emblem of place, of the vanishing histories of Tyndrum and its legacy with gold.

Every piece is a vessel of provenance, crafted with care, rooted in sustainability, shaped by the elements, and deeply grounded in place. Finished in Aurora Green, reminiscent of the crisp Highland skies where the aurora dances and Ethical Blue, a cobalt-free glaze embodying our commitment to ethics and sustainability, these stoneware pieces carry not only the colours of the landscape but also the stories of our values.

Fired to cone 6 using renewable energy, each vessel is a testament to mindful craftsmanship, created with the lowest practical carbon footprint, designed to endure and connect us to the enduring spirit of the Highlands.
