This Veined Vase is finished in our Black & Naked glaze, where dark stain settles into fractured lines beneath a clear coat, leaving the raw clay exposed. Its surface recalls the quartz veins that cut through the rocks and glens of Glen Lochy, chaotic yet ordered, scarred yet beautiful.
 
Around the neck runs a hand-applied band of real gold, panned from the rivers that flow past our pottery. It’s a quiet echo of the mineral-rich seams that carry quartz and gold through these hills. With its quartz-rich clay body and gilded rim, each vase becomes more than a vessel: it is a piece of land, river, and story, held in your hands.
